Tijdens ons onderzoek naar het vers houden van voedsel voor onze Poma/Olera serie, raakten we steeds meer geïnteresseerd in het zelf kweken van ons eten.

Kiemgroentes zijn kleine super foods vol smaak die je eenvoudig het hele jaar door in je eigen huis kunt kweken.

How to work your Patella Crescenda

  • 1

    Set up your Patella Crescenda set:

    Place the small base in the centre of the dish and add the growth disks.

  • 2

    Fill the reservoir and place in the centre base.

    (Don't worry about spilling a little, it's only water)

  • 3

    The vacuum controls the water level:

    Lift the bulb to make the water reach the growth disks

  • 4

    Sow your seeds evenly on the circles of the growth disks.

    Keep the water level up, until the seeds have sprouted

A bit of a disappointment.

There were no seeds in the package.

I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed that there are no seeds in the Patella set.
The reason for that is that there are strict rules for shipping seeds outside the borders of the EU.

We designed the Patella in such a way that no special seeds are needed, but the set can basically be used with any loose seed.
Through the webpage on Microgreens we created, you will find links to points of sale of organic seeds around the world.

Within the EU, it is possible to order the Seed Starter Kit with your set, so you can make a nice start.
